Service Description
Students will explore the human body through hands-on activities, interactive models, and weekly lessons focused on the major body systems and anatomy. Throughout the semester, students will work together to assemble a 4-foot human body puzzle and use an interactive human body model to learn how each body system and organ functions and how they work together. Each student will create a life-size body outline by tracing themselves on large art paper. As new body systems are introduced each week, students will add the corresponding organs and anatomy to their life-size model, creating a complete visual representation of the human body by the end of the course. Students will also gain practical experience using a stethoscope to listen to heartbeats, lungs, and pulse rates while learning about the circulatory and respiratory systems. Throughout the semester, students will complete age-appropriate worksheets and activities that will be compiled into a binder for them to take home at the end of the class as a keepsake and study resource. Must be able to read, write/take notes. $20 Cash or Venmo @dpasquale07
