As you scroll down you will see a bit more about each of us. You'll learn we all have slightly different stories of how we got here. The thing is all of our journeys lead us together.
We strive to provide a warm, safe environment for our children to learn, grow and build relationships. We welcome your family to come join us. We hope everyone can flourish, laugh a lot, master new skills and build lasting bonds with new and old friends!

I am a homeschooling mom to 3 little girls. I have been homeschooling since 2020. I myself was not homeschooled and was a part of the public school system. I never intended to homeschool my family and if you would have asked me 5 years ago if I’d ever consider homeschooling, I would have told you absolutely not because it was just something I never saw working for our family. But when my oldest started kindergarten my mama heart was broken, and I felt like I was losing so much of my time with her to the public school system and she also really struggled with school and the long hours. Her first year of school was also the same year as Covid so then she ended up being home with me anyways for the second part of the year and while she was home, she flourished and was doing so much better than when she was actually going to school! So, my husband and I knew we needed to give homeschooling a chance.
I am also one of the leaders of the local homeschooling Facebook group called “Homeschooling in Grace” and I organize many of our field trips to local businesses, farms and many other local learning resources for the kids. In addition, I am also the leader of the Beaver County Wild & Free nature learning group.
Welcome to Journey in His Grace Co-op. I am so happy to have your family here with us and I hope you enjoy your time with us as well!

Hello there, I’m Racheal!
I’ve been happily married to my best friend since 2011, with many more wonderful years together before that. We’re raising two beautiful children alongside our two sweet, aging dogs, filling our home with love, laughter, and a lot of life.
For over 15 years, I worked in the same salon, building a career I loved and strong ties in my community. When COVID-19 hit, everything shifted—salons closed, schools became unpredictable, and we found ourselves on a new path. I opened a home salon to continue working while staying present with my family. Later that year I pulled my daughter from kindergarten after just one day, and what started as a temporary solution became a life we truly love.
Homeschooling wasn’t in our original plan, but it’s now a huge part of who we are. Out of our homeschool journey, Journey in His Grace was born—a co-op we started and continue to run, offering support, faith, and connection to other homeschooling families. We never imagined this would be our story, but we are so thankful for how God redirected our steps! What began in uncertainty has grown into a life full of purpose, peace, and community.

My name is Celeste Kendall. I am a mother to two beautiful girls, 1 handsome boy, and a bonus mom to another wonderful son. I began homeschooling in the fall of 2019 after sending my son to a year of public school and not having it go over well. A friend of mine told me that the place for children to be is with their mothers who are the best teachers for their children. Having already been thinking of homeschooling after my son’s struggles in kindergarten my friend gave me the push I needed. The many amazing homeschool families we have met through the years has only helped to increase my love of the homeschool community. It has been one of the hardest experiences, yet the greatest blessings one could ever ask for in this lifetime. To teach them of Christ and to make the Savior apart of your daily studies is such an amazing growth in love and patience.
One of my favorite quotes from Abraham Lincoln says, "All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."

Hi, I’m Carly! I’m married to my high school prom date, Brent, and together we’re raising our four amazing kids (plus two cats who think they run the house). Homeschooling was never something we had considered—until God gently shifted our hearts. After praying for direction, I randomly crossed paths with a group of homeschool moms at a park. Their warmth and support felt like an answered prayer. I went home, shared the experience with Brent, and we both knew instantly it was the sign we’d been waiting for. From that day on, we’ve embraced this journey wholeheartedly and haven’t looked back. Seeing God’s hand in every aspect of our homeschool journey has been truly amazing. The homeschool community has completely surrounded us with love, encouragement, and lifelong friendships. We are so very thankful! It may not always be easy, but knowing I get this extra time with our kids is the most rewarding experience. I’m grateful for the chance to walk alongside other families on this path—and I look forward to learning right alongside you and your children!

Hi! I’m Deanna, a homeschooling mom to two wonderful boys, ages 9 and 13. Our family began our homeschooling journey in 2022, and it has been one of the most rewarding decisions we've made! I truly appreciate the freedom that homeschooling allows — not just in our daily schedule, but in the ability to tailor my children’s education to their unique needs and interests. It’s a blessing to have peace of mind, knowing exactly what they’re learning and being fully involved in their growth, both academically and personally. When I’m not homeschooling, you’ll find me gardening, hiking, or hunting and fishing. I’m so grateful that God has blessed me with the ability to homeschool and to be part of our co-op. I’m looking forward to learning and growing together!

To put it simply-We were just four like-minded moms on a mission. We created Journey in His Grace together, and ran it as the four leaders for the first two years!
